Factory worker injured by faulty machinery - wins £225,000

The claim

Mr T worked as a machine operator in a factory. His employer breached Health and Safety Regulations by providing him with a machine with no guard. His hand was drawn into the machine and he suffered severe crushing injuries and later developed post-traumatic stress disorder. Mr T's doctor said that it was the worst hand injury he had ever seen.

The result

We sued the factory and they settled at the door of the court for damages of £225,000.
