Man slips on wet floor at work - wins £7,000

The claim

Mr W slipped on a wet floor at his place of work. He suffered a nasty ankle fracture and was unable to get back to his job as a bus driver for a few months.

The result

We sued his employers for failing to provide him with a safe work place. At the outset they said the accident was his own fault as he should have seen the water. However, they eventually settled his claim for its full value of £7,000.
